July New Pattern - Phuket Necklace

The beautiful Thai island of Phuket was the inspiration behind this month's necklace beading pattern tutorial, the Phuket Necklace.

Phuket Necklace Beadwork Tutorial

A tropical paradise with white sandy beaches, bustling towns and a vibrant nightlife the island is a world away from day to day life. The Phuket necklace wouldn't look out of place when worn on this beautiful island, whether you're exploring the towns or taking it easy on the beaches.

A classic design with three rows of beads interspaced with contrasting beads which form a figure of eight pattern. In the original design Julia has used cubes for the rows and faceted beads for the figure of eight, but you could of course use matching beads in different colours or shades or perhaps the different bead in the same colour.

The Phuket necklace is suitable for an intermediate/advanced skill level. As with all our beading tutorials, the pattern comes with step by step instructions and illustrations to help you complete the design.
