Kyoto Necklace Kit
A Limited Edition necklace inspired by a trip to the Japanese city of Kyoto. A pretty, summer inspired necklace with a delicate fringing of tiny seashells.
We have named the colour choices of the kits after famous landmarks in Kyoto; the Gold is named after Kinkaku-ji, a beautiful Buddhist temple covered in gold leaf; the Blue is named after Lake Biwa, Japan's largest fresh waterlake just to the north of the city.
The name for the Green comes from Arashiyama, a district famous for it's bamboo groves and the Ivory is, of course, named for the breathtaking cherry blossom that covers Kyoto every spring.
The necklace chain itself is constructed using right angle weave, with fringing for the shell decorations.
